ABOUT ME

 

Max Levine is a Freelance Video Editor/Videographer/Producer/Director from Baltimore, MD and a 2014 Film Production graduate of Ithaca College. He has most recently worked as the Creative Digital Content/ Communications Associate of The Park School of Baltimore from Fall 2018 -Summer 2019 where he acted as a videographer, editor and producer for short videos intended for prospective students and parents.

Prior to this, Max worked for 2.5 years as a full-time video editor at ATB Productions, a freelance production studio in Baltimore, MD where he has edited, occasionally produced, and written content for companies like Comcast, Budget Blinds, the American Heart Association, the Greater Washington Urban League, Walker & Dunlop, Sagewater, Booz Allen and Agora, among many others.

He was a former freelance writer for the Baltimore Citypaper from 2014-2016 and also directed/edited three news videos and wrote seven articles for their website. He has also worked on videos for companies and institutions like Magnetar Studios, Grantland Studios, Polsky Films, Cornell University, Ithaca College, and others.

His short film, Seafood Diet won "Best Dark Comedy Short" at the 2018 Avalonia Festival and has been an Official Selection in 22 film festivals around North America including the 2018 Panic Fest, Shock Stock, Genreblast, Ithaca Fantastik, Sick N’ Wrong Fest, Texas Terrors and was also a Finalist in the 2018 Born in Baltimore Festival.

His more recent short film, Door was awarded “Director Selection” at the 2019 Just Before Midnight Noir Fest and he also placed "Best of Fest" in the 2017 #LOL Film Festival for his college thesis film, Just Wingin' It.

He was the Director/Organizer/Founder/Editor of the BCF SketchFest for two consecutive years (2018, 2019).
